At the Placer SPCA it is our goal to
place each animal in a loving, permanent
home.
To be certain that you and your family
are ready to add a new furry family
member to your household, click
here and take a moment to consider:
"Is this the Best time to Adopt
a Pet?" If you see an animal you would like to
adopt, please visit us during our center hours. It is also helpful to review
our
adoption process and
pricing information before you come in!
Companion Requests
If you are interested in a specific breed or
type of animal, you may want to consider
making a companion request. Simply fill out
the matchmaker questionnaire and identify the type of animal you are interested in –
and we will keep your paperwork on file for
three months. Should an animal come in that
matches your companion request, we will
contact you. Please note: Just because you
make a companion request does not guarantee
you will be able to adopt that animal. You
will still need to adhere to all of the
adoption guidelines so we can ensure a
successful adoption.

Lulu is a very sweet little kitty. She was very thin when she arrived because she has a sensitive tummy, but with the right food she has filled out. She loves to tip upside down for a belly rub. She's very mellow, with unusual little ears and a soft little voice. Lulu first came to the Placer SPCA in July 2009, and she is ready for a permanent loving home!
See more about Lulu on the Cat Adoption page.

Felix and Fiona are simply best friends.
They were found together as strays back in January. They have had each other as comfort and can be seen snuggled together in their condo, but they are more than ready to find a real home.
These two shy, gentle, and affectionate cats like nothing more than to sit on a lap to be petted and held, and will do best in a loving and understanding home that will give them time to adjust. With a slow introduction, they would get along with another cat or a calm dog.
See more about Felix and Fiona on the Cat Adoption page.
