Service Hours for School

Although we realize you would like to work hands-on with the animals, volunteering with the animals requires a long term time commitment and is not designed for students who need to complete a specific number of hours for school.

However, don’t be discouraged because we do need and want your help.  There are a lot of things that you can do to help the animals.  To obtain a list of approved community service projects, click here.

Please let us know what project you have selected and schedule a time to bring in your completed project so that we may acknowledge your hard work and sign any required paperwork.

Things Young People Can Do For the Animals

Thank you for caring about animals and being willing to find ways to make the world a better place for all living things.

There are so many things that young people can do both at home and at school.  It can be as simple as making sure your animals have proper identification to getting your friends and classmates involved in ending the homeless animal problem in this country.  For a list of suggestions, click here.
