events throughout the year to raise money
and awareness for the homeless companion
animals of Placer County.

2008 Be Kind To Animals Day for
children ages six (6) through fifteen
(15) years of age. . Saturday,
May 10th, PlacerSPCA, Roseville, 12pm-3pm.
Due to space constraints, participation
in this event does require advance
reservations. You may register
for Be Kind to Animals Day by clicking
items below or you may request the
materials by e-mailing humaneedu@placerspca.org,
or calling 916-782-7722 ext. 253 or
530-885-7387 ext. 253. Messages should
include the parents name and telephone
number, the name of the child and
the child's age.
Participation is limited, so don't
delay, the application and waiver
must be received by May 3, 2008
to
reserve a spot at this fun event for
your child.

The 19th annual BBQ & Blues
Festival is expected to draw thousands
of people to the Gold Country Fairgrounds
once again. This
fan favorite, community based event,
combines all the elements necessary
for a truly great time: talented entertainment,
delicious food and drink, enthusiastic
music lovers and a wonderful setting,
all the while raising funds for a
great cause - helping homeless companion
animals throughout Placer County.
