Provider (Adult Volunteers Only).
Volunteers in this program care for
shelter animals in their own home. These
animals may be too young to be adopted, need
to be bottle-fed, need socialization or have
health problems. The length of stay in a
volunteer’s home may range from a few days
to several weeks depending upon the needs of
the animal.

Humane Education
Assistant. Assists the Humane
Educator with educational presentations or
events. Duties may include preparing
materials, co-facilitating a class, handling
an animal, supervising youth projects,
conducting tours of the shelter, assisting
with off-site events, helping with the Youth
for Animals Club, etc.
